  • 5 cups Watermelon, seeded and cubed Choose a fruit that smells floral and feels heavy for ripeness.
  • 1 large Mango, peeled and diced Look for softness, and a sweet fragrance.
  • ½ cup Water Chilled water enhances coldness; coconut water is a great alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon White sugar Can substitute with honey or agave.
  • 4 cubes Ice cubes Crushed ice blends faster for a smoother consistency.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add the watermelon, diced mango, water, and sugar to a blender jar.
  2. Pulse a few times to break up the fruit, then blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until perfectly smooth.
  3. Taste for sweetness and add more sugar or a squeeze of lime if desired.
  4. Place ice cubes into four glasses and pour the fresh smoothie over the ice. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 24 hours; expect mild separation. For longer storage, freeze in portions.
