Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced Choose ripe, fragrant berries for the best natural sweetness.
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Use mini marshmallows for the best texture.
  • 1 cup whipped cream Use freshly whipped cream or a stable whipped topping.
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers Pulse coarsely for texture.
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional) Use for added crunch.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional) Sprinkle over strawberries for sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the sliced strawberries in a large bowl and sprinkle the optional tablespoon of sugar over them. Toss gently and allow to macerate for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberries until well-coated, using a wide spatula to maintain airiness.
  3. Sprinkle in the mini marshmallows and half of the crushed graham crackers, folding gently to distribute evenly.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and press the remaining crushed graham crackers evenly across the top with added chopped nuts if desired.
  5. Refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled, offering extra crushed graham crackers on the side.

Notes

Prepare and chill up to 24 hours ahead. For maximum crunch, add graham crackers just before serving. This salad can be made dairy-free with alternative ingredients.
