Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
Mixing
- In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Transfer the thick batter into the prepared baking dish, press it evenly into the corners.
Baking
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until edges are set. Check with a toothpick for moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before glazing.
Glazing
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, strawberry preserves, milk, and cream cheese until smooth.
- Pour the glaze over the cooled brownies and spread it evenly.
- Let the glaze set for a few minutes before slicing.
- Slice into squares and serve.
