Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the melted butter, milk, and beaten egg until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir just until moistened.
- Gently fold in the shredded cheese and chopped herbs.
Baking
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40–50 minutes, checking at 35 minutes.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Store wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature. Refrigerate for up to 5 days. For freezing, wrap tightly and store for up to 3 months.
