Preparation
- Choose a ripe cantaloupe, peel it, remove the seeds, and cut it into roughly 1-inch cubes. Chill the cubed melon in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Place the chilled cantaloupe cubes into a blender, add ¾ cup of whole milk (or chosen dairy-free milk), and a tablespoon of white sugar or honey to taste.
Blending
- Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds until uniform and no fruit chunks remain. Pause to check texture and scrape the sides if needed.
Serving
- Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses and drink immediately for the best texture and aroma.
Notes
Storage: Store leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake before drinking. For freezing, pour into freezer-safe containers and freeze for up to 2 months.
