Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to package directions, combining the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Beat until smooth.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Assembly & Decoration
- Place one cake layer on a serving plate, spread frosting over the top, and add the second layer.
- Use remaining frosting to cover the top and sides, smoothing as desired.
- Decorate with colorful sprinkles and arrange Marshmallow Peeps on top.
- Serve sliced at room temperature for the best texture.

For best results, use room-temperature ingredients and avoid overcrowding the cake with decorations. Store leftovers covered in the fridge.
