Preparation
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside.
- Pull 1/2 cup of light green candy melts out of the bag and keep in a small bowl for drizzle.
Melting Candy Melts
- Melt the remaining candy melts in a heatproof bowl using a double boiler over low heat, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Dipping Oreos
- Using a fork, dip each Red Velvet Oreo into the melted candy, ensuring full coverage.
- Lift and let excess drip back into the bowl before placing on the prepared tray.
Drizzling and Decorating
- Melt reserved candy in a piping bag and drizzle over each dipped Oreo.
- Immediately press a red heart sprinkle into the center and sprinkle dark green sanding sugar if using.
Setting
- Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes before storing.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 7 days. Freeze for longer storage.
