Ingredients
  

For the cookies
  • 10 ounces light green candy melts For the coating.
  • 12.2 ounces Red Velvet Oreos For the cookie base.
  • 24 pieces red heart sprinkles For decoration.
  • 1/2 cup light green candy melts (reserved for drizzle) For the drizzle pattern.
  • 1 tablespoon dark green sanding sugar (optional) For additional decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside.
  2. Pull 1/2 cup of light green candy melts out of the bag and keep in a small bowl for drizzle.
Melting Candy Melts
  1. Melt the remaining candy melts in a heatproof bowl using a double boiler over low heat, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Dipping Oreos
  1. Using a fork, dip each Red Velvet Oreo into the melted candy, ensuring full coverage.
  2. Lift and let excess drip back into the bowl before placing on the prepared tray.
Drizzling and Decorating
  1. Melt reserved candy in a piping bag and drizzle over each dipped Oreo.
  2. Immediately press a red heart sprinkle into the center and sprinkle dark green sanding sugar if using.
Setting
  1. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes before storing.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 7 days. Freeze for longer storage.
