Ingredients

Cookie Base Ingredients
  • 13.25 oz white cake mix Use a name-brand mix for consistent sweetness and texture.
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil Choose a neutral-flavored oil; avoid olive oil.
  • 2 large eggs Use room-temperature eggs for better incorporation.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • as needed green gel food coloring Use gel for vibrant color without extra liquid.
Topping Ingredients
  • 12 oz white chocolate melting wafers Melting wafers create a perfect glossy finish.
  • 2 tablespoons sprinkles Select colorful sprinkles for decoration.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Mixing the Dough
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla. Add green gel food coloring one drop at a time until the desired shade is achieved.
  2. Mix until a thick, almost sticky dough forms.
Chilling the Dough
  1. Cover the bowl and chill the dough for 30 minutes.
Baking the Cookies
  1. Scoop 1-inch balls of dough and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared sheet.
  2. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges look set but center is still soft.
Cooling and Decorating
  1. Cool cookies on the pan for 5 minutes then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  2. Melt the white chocolate and dip half of each cooled cookie. Top with sprinkles while chocolate is still warm.

Notes

Chilled dough controls spread, yielding a taller, cakier cookie. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
