Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly spray with nonstick spray.
  2. Remove 2-1/2 cups of marshmallows and set them aside.
Melting
  1. In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter until bubbling gently.
  2. Add the remaining marshmallows and stir until smooth.
Flavoring
  1. Stir in salt and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combining
  1. Fold in the Fruity Pebbles and Rice Krispies until coated.
  2. Gently fold in the reserved whole marshmallows.
Setting
  1. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and lightly press to even the top.
  2. Allow to set at room temperature for 60 minutes.
  3. Lift from the pan and slice into squares.

Notes

For added gooeyness, consider adding 1 tablespoon of corn syrup to the melted mixture. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 5 days. Avoid overpacking the pan to maintain softness.
