Preparation
- Line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly spray with nonstick spray.
- Remove 2-1/2 cups of marshmallows and set them aside.
Melting
- In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter until bubbling gently.
- Add the remaining marshmallows and stir until smooth.
Flavoring
- Stir in salt and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combining
- Fold in the Fruity Pebbles and Rice Krispies until coated.
- Gently fold in the reserved whole marshmallows.
Setting
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and lightly press to even the top.
- Allow to set at room temperature for 60 minutes.
- Lift from the pan and slice into squares.
Notes
For added gooeyness, consider adding 1 tablespoon of corn syrup to the melted mixture. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 5 days. Avoid overpacking the pan to maintain softness.
