  • 1 oz freeze-dried strawberries Gives concentrated strawberry flavor without moisture.
  • 4 cups rice or corn Chex cereal Choose plain for the lightest texture.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Use chips formulated for baking.
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar Sifted for even coating.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Powder the freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor until fine. Mix this with powdered sugar.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Coating
  1. Gently fold the melted white chocolate into the Chex cereal until coated.
  2. Place the coated cereal in a freezer bag with the strawberry powder mixture and toss gently.
Setting
  1. Spread the coated cereal on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
