Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup Butter (softened to room temperature) Use real, unsalted butter for best results.
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk Can substitute with coconut milk for dairy-free option.
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour (sifted for light consistency) Sifting helps achieve a lighter texture.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder Ensure it's fresh.
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Used for dusting.

Method

Preparation and Mixing
  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth and slightly fluffy.
  2. Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and continue to mix until fully combined and glossy.
  3. Sift the all-purpose flour with the baking powder into the butter-condensed milk bowl.
  4. Use a spatula to fold gently until a soft dough forms.
Shaping the Cookies
  1. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into uniform balls with lightly floured hands.
  2. Place them on a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake in a preheated oven (350°F / 175°C) until edges are just golden, usually 10–12 minutes.
  2. Cool on the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar when fully cooled.
