Ingredients
  

Fudge Base
  • 500 g 500 g milk chocolate, broken into pieces Choose a good-quality milk chocolate bar or bagged chunks.
  • 397 g 397 g sweetened condensed milk (one full tin) Make sure the tin is full and unopened.
Easter Treats
  • 100-400 g 100–400 g assorted Easter chocolates (Mini Eggs, Malteser Bunnies, Creme Eggs, etc.) Avoid very oily fillings that can cause separation.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add chocolate and condensed milk to the slow cooker bowl.
  2. Set the slow cooker to LOW and cover.
  3. Cook for about two hours, stirring regularly.
  4. Prepare the Easter chocolates while the fudge cooks.
  5. Fold most of the crushed chocolates into the thickened fudge.
  6. Pour into a parchment-lined tin and smooth the top.
  7. Press remaining chocolates into the top for decoration.
  8. Chill until fully set.
  9. Remove from the tin and slice into squares.

Notes

For best results, avoid high heat, keep stirring at regular intervals and use quality chocolate. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
