  • 12 oz Chocolate Melting Wafers or Semi-Sweet Chips Semi-sweet chips may need a small amount of oil to reach the right texture.
  • 2-3 tablespoons Assorted Sprinkles Choose dry sugar sprinkles to avoid bleeding.

  1. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe glass bowl. Heat for 30 seconds, then stir thoroughly. Repeat in 30-second intervals until the chocolate is completely smooth and glossy.
  2. Take one Oreo cookie and dip it halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip back into the bowl. Rotate once for even coating.
  3. Lay the dipped cookie onto a sheet of parchment paper and space about 1 inch apart.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, immediately shake sprinkles onto the dipped portion of the cookie.
  5. Repeat with the remaining cookies, reheating the chocolate briefly if necessary.
  6. Let the cookies sit undisturbed for approximately 20 minutes at room temperature until the chocolate hardens.
  7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

For best results, handle cookies by the undipped edge to avoid fingerprints. Keep chocolate around 88-91°F for optimal shine. Avoid microwaving finished cookies to keep them crisp.
