Method
 

Making the Chocolate Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate by heating semisweet chocolate disks in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating in 30-second bursts until smooth.
  2. Stir in the peppermint extract until combined.
Dipping the Oreos
  1. Prepare your work surface by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Dip each Oreo into the melted chocolate using a fork, allowing excess chocolate to drip off before placing on the parchment.
Decorating
  1. Once dipped, drizzle remaining melted chocolate over the cookies and immediately add green sprinkles for decoration.
